About God - God is the Creator, Sustainer and Ruler of the Universe. He has eternally co-existed in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and one in essence. About Jesus Christ - Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with God the Father. He has co-existed with the Father and the Holy Spirit from all eternity. Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life and offered Himself a sinless sacrifice for the sins of mankind by dying on the cross of Calvary about AD 33. He arose from the dead three days later and demonstrated His power and authority over sin and death, commissioned His church to evangelize, baptize and disciple the world, and ascended back to His Father, where He continues an intercessory work for every believer. About the Holy Spirit - The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He is present in the world to convince the world of its need for Christ. He lives within every believer, enabling every believer to live a life of victory. He provides guidance for the Church, understanding in spiritual truth, and stands as a guarantee of the eternal security of God's salvation. He gifts believers for ministry in the Church and makes intercession to God on the believer's behalf in prayer. About the Bible - The Bible is God's revelation to man. It is the mind of God to the minds of men. It is divinely inspired, devoid of any errors whatsoever, and is the Word of God. It is the supreme source of truth, and provides guidance, instruction, and correction in daily living. It is fully capable of presenting every man complete in Jesus Christ to God the Father. About Mankind - Adam, the first man, was originally created in the image of God. However, by a voluntary act of disobedience, he sinned against God and fell from that perfect state, being separated from his relationship and fellowship with God. As a result, the entire human race that descended from him was born into an imperfect state, possessed with a sinful, disobedient nature, and separated from a proper relationship with God. About Salvation - Salvation is God's free gift of eternal life to us. It is acquired by repentance towards God of sin and faith in Jesus Christ as Lord. It can never be acquired by good deeds, observing religious rituals such as circumcision, baptism or communion, or becoming a member of any religious institution, organization, or denomination. This salvation is granted the very moment a person turns for his or her sin and puts their faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord. About Security - Because salvation is given by God, it is also sustained by God. Salvation cannot be lost or stolen for any reason whatsoever. Once a person is saved, they are forever saved, or eternally secure. Since man can do nothing to gain salvation, he can likewise do nothing to lose salvation. The act of atonement on the cross was a sacrifice for all sin: past, present and future. It is a complete salvation, a salvation "to the uttermost." Salvation is complete and eternal as a result of Christ's sinless life and vicarious death for the believer. About the Local Church - The local church is a family of regenerated, baptized believers who have come together in one place and committed themselves to partner together for the purpose of carrying out the Great Commandment and the Great Commission of Jesus Christ here on earth. About Satan - Satan is the fallen angel Lucifer. Originally created perfect, Lucifer rebelled against God and was cast out of heaven. Since that time, he has waged war on God and all that God has created, specifically man. He has made it his life's ambition to work against all that God is and all that God does. He design is to destroy God and God's people. His destiny is his own destruction in the Lake of Fire for all eternity. About the Return of Jesus Christ - Jesus Christ will one day return to earth to resurrect, rapture, and reign with His people. This return will be a physical, audible, and visible event. He will not return invisibly or by some secret, mysterious event. Rather, His return will be glorious and public, for the purpose of manifesting His sovereign Kingship over all the earth. About Eternity - Man was created to live forever. He will either live forever in a state of utter separation from God as a result of his rejection of Jesus Christ, or in a state of intimate communion with God, as a result of his acceptance of Jesus Christ. To be eternally separated from God is to spend eternity in the Lake of Fire following the last judgment. To be eternally in union with God is to spend eternity in His very presence. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence. |
